Welcome to HV Tutoring! We are committed to fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere for every student. Please take a moment to review the following guidelines thoroughly to guarantee a successful and enriching experience for all.
1. Dress Code

Students are required to dress modestly and appropriately during online tutoring sessions.

Comfortable clothing is encouraged.

Pajamas, sleepwear, or clothing with inappropriate language or images are not permitted.

Always come to class fully dressed.

Parents or siblings, if you are walking in the background, be sure to be fully dressed as well.
2. Code of Conduct

Attend sessions on time and prepared with the necessary materials (including a calculator if allowed)

Participate actively and constructively in group settings.

Maintain open communication with tutors regarding any questions or concerns.

Inform the tutor of upcoming topics to be covered or provide a syllabus for the course prior to one-on-one sessions.

Tutors are available to provide assistance with homework and offer guidance on test corrections as needed. However, please note that we are unable to provide assistance with take-home tests. We appreciate your understanding.
3. Students Attending

Our one-on-one tutoring sessions are tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring personalized attention and support.

Tutoring in group sessions will only allow 3 students max. Topics will be grade-specific.

To ensure full participation, students are encouraged to use a laptop or desktop computer rather than a tablet, iPad, or phone, as these devices may limit their ability to engage effectively.
8. Academic Integrity

Uphold academic honesty by submitting original work and giving proper credit to sources used.

Instances of plagiarism, excessive reliance on AI, or any form of cheating will be met with zero tolerance.
9. Privacy and Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our students.

All tutoring sessions are conducted securely online and recorded for review.

Students should respect the privacy of tutors and fellow students by refraining from sharing personal information disclosed during tutoring sessions.

Students are to never share their address, the name of the city where they reside, telephone number, or any other personal contact information, including social media.
10. Safety and Security

Our online tutoring platform is equipped with security measures to ensure a safe learning environment.

Students are responsible for maintaining the security of their login credentials and personal information.
11. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate tutoring services for students who violate our policies or engage in misconduct.

Refunds will not be provided for terminated services due to policy violations.
